INDICATION:
Onset 8MG Tablet is an anti-emetic medication used to prevent and treat nausea and vomiting.
● Used before and after chemotherapy sessions to reduce nausea.
● Administered after surgery to prevent nausea caused by anesthesia.
Used in patients undergoing radiation therapy.
● Sometimes prescribed for severe vomiting due to stomach infections or food poisoning.
● Occasionally used for hyperemesis gravidarum (severe pregnancy-related nausea), but only under a doctor’s supervision.
Administration:
● Take Onset 8MG Tablet with or without food as prescribed by a doctor.
● For chemotherapy-induced nausea, take 30 minutes before treatment.
Side Effects:
● Common: Headache, dizziness, constipation.
● Less Common: Irregular heartbeat, blurred vision, difficulty breathing (seek immediate medical help if severe).
