INDICATION:
Nebicare 5mg is a beta-blocker primarily used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and heart failure. It works by:
● Blocking beta-1 adrenergic receptors: Reduces heart rate and cardiac workload.
● Vasodilation (widening of blood vessels): Enhances blood flow, reducing blood pressure.
● Improving heart function: Helps in cases of mild-to-moderate heart failure.
Administration:
● Take one tablet per day, preferably at the same time.
● Can be taken with or without food.
● Do not stop abruptly without consulting a doctor.
Side Effects:
● Common: Fatigue, dizziness, slow heart rate.
● Less Common: Shortness of breath, swelling, severe allergic reactions (seek medical attention if severe).
