INDICATION

MECHANISM OF ACTION

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

● Can be taken with or without food

SIDE EFFECTS
● Common: dizziness, fatigue, increased urination
● Less common: electrolyte imbalance, hypotension, dehydration
NOT RECOMMENDED IN

DRUG INTERACTIONS
Co-Aprovel may interact with potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics, increasing the risk of hyperkalemia. NSAIDs may reduce their antihypertensive effect and impair kidney function. Lithium toxicity risk may increase when used concurrently. Other antihypertensives may enhance blood pressure-lowering effects, leading to hypotension.
