INDICATION

C&C Baby Lotion 100ml is a gentle moisturizing lotion formulated specifically for infant and baby skin. It is used for daily skin care to maintain softness, prevent dryness, and keep baby skin hydrated and smooth. It is suitable for use after bath or nappy change to condition and protect delicate newborn and infant skin. The hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested formula is free from harsh chemicals, making it appropriate for routine use on sensitive baby skin.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

The moisturizing lotion works by forming an occlusive and emollient film on the surface of the skin that reduces transepidermal water loss and supplements the natural lipid barrier of baby skin. Emollients such as glycerin, mineral oil, and plant-derived fatty acids penetrate the stratum corneum and restore moisture balance, preventing the dryness and flaking common in newborn skin as the immature barrier function develops. Humectants attract and hold water within the skin layers, maintaining hydration throughout the day. The gentle, fragrance-minimized formula is designed to avoid irritation to the underdeveloped baby skin immune system.

HOW TO USE

•      Apply a small amount to the baby's skin after bathing while the skin is still slightly damp

•      Gently massage into the skin using soft circular motions until absorbed

•      Use daily or as often as needed to maintain skin moisture and softness

•      Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water

SIDE EFFECTS

Common:

•      Generally, very well tolerated by most infants

•      Mild skin irritation in very sensitive or allergic infants

Less common:

•      Allergic contact dermatitis in infants with hypersensitivity to any ingredient

•      Eczema flare in atopic infants in rare cases

NOT RECOMMENDED IN

•      Known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in the formulation
