INDICATION
Bilazest 20mg tablets contain Bilastine, a second-generation antihistamine used for the treatment of allergic conditions such as allergic rhinitis and urticaria (hives). It helps relieve symptoms, including sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy or watery eyes, skin itching, and rash caused by allergic reactions. Bilastine works effectively without causing significant drowsiness compared with older antihistamines, making it suitable for daily allergy management.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
Bilastine selectively blocks peripheral histamine H1 receptors, preventing histamine from triggering allergic symptoms such as inflammation, itching, and swelling.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
 • Take one tablet once daily or as prescribed
 • Swallow with water on an empty stomach
 • Preferably take at the same time each day
 • Avoid fruit juice close to dosing time
