INDICATION

Vilget-M 50mg+500mg Tab is a fixed-dose combination oral antidiabetic indicated for the management of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults as an adjunct to diet and exercise. This lower-strength formulation is particularly suitable for patients initiating dual oral therapy who have not yet been on metformin, for those who require a more gradual titration to minimize gastrointestinal side effects of metformin, or for patients with mild to moderate hyperglycemia who do not yet require higher metformin doses. It provides the incretin-based benefits of vildagliptin alongside the foundational glucose-lowering and insulin-sensitizing effects of metformin at an initiation-friendly dose.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
