INDICATION

Serbica 20mg Cap is a retinoid indicated for the treatment of severe recalcitrant nodular acne that has not responded to conventional therapy including oral antibiotics. It is the most effective treatment for severe acne and can produce long-term or permanent remission after a single treatment course.

MECHANISM OF ACTION

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

•      Dose based on body weight: 0.5mg/kg/day initially, increasing to 1mg/kg/day based on response and tolerance

SIDE EFFECTS

Methotrexate combined with isotretinoin increases hepatotoxicity risk.
